Two held with stolen garment items worth 10 lakh in ctg

Two people were arrested with stolen garment items worth Tk 10 lakh in Chittagong yesterday.
The arrestees are Dipak Chandra Nath, 25 and Rupa Dey, 27.
Police said they arrested the duo with 8 sacks, 149 cartons and 210 packets of the items from the Chittagong city's Baluchhara area 11:30 pm.
The fabric items were stored in a house at Lokman Colony in the area after stealing those from different garment factories in the port city, said Bayezid Police Station's Sub Inspector Dipak Dewan.
