Shooting of “Jibondhuli” to start in October

Shooting of Tanveer Mokammel's next film “Jibondhuli” will commence in October this year. Written and directed by Mokammel, “Jibondhuli” will feature experiences of a poor dhol player named Jibon Krishna Das during the Liberation War, says a press release.
The cast will feature Syed Hasan Imam, Ramendu Majumdar, Wahida Mallick Jolly, Rahmat Ali, Chitralekha Guha, Shatabdi Wadud, Jyotika Jyoti and Uttam Guha.
Apu Rosario is the cinematographer while Uttam Guha and Syed Sabab Ali Arju will direct art and music in the film. Chitralekha Guha will design costumes for the production.
Uttam Guha is also the chief assistant director of the film. Sagir Mostafa, Syed Sabab Ali Arju and Rana Masud are other assistant directors. The film has received grants from the Ministry of Information. At present, pre-production work of the film is on.
