Burglars stole valuables worth around Tk 10 lakh fom the house of a machinery trader in Chittagong city yesterday.
Khaled Hossain said he along with his family went to his father-in- law's house on Saturday night. When they returned to their flat in Enayet Bazar area yesterday morning, they found the lock of the front door and their wardrobe broken.
Clothes worth around Tk 40 thousand, 16 tolas of gold and cash amounting Tk 16,000 were stolen, Khaled added.
