Arms, ammo recovered

Army men recovered a light gun, three local made SBBL guns, five bullets, three packets gun powder and a few bomb making instruments from Jatindrakarbari area in Laxmichhari upazila early yesterday.
However, none was arrested in this connection, said Lt Col AKM Sajadul Islam, commanding officer of Laxmichhari Army Zone.
On secret information, a team of army personnel of the zone raided the area at around 2:30am and recovered the arms and ammunition.
Officer in-charge of Laxmichhari police station Kamrul Hassan confirmed the incident.
