US, wars and world peace

War monger former US President George Bush invaded Iraq on false pretext, attacked Afghanistan and also bombed some Pakistan territories violating the universal declaration of human rights and all peaceful and democratic means. He thus threatened world peace and security.
When the conscious people of the USA knew the ill designs of George Bush, they elected Barack Obama as their new president for a change. Peace-loving people all over the world expected that US troops from Iraq and Afghanistan would soon be withdrawn, unjustified bombing on Pakistan would stop and Palestinian-Israeli problem would see a solution.
But all hopes were nipped in the bud. Some people are of the opinion that an invisible power has gripped the administration of the USA and President Obama is simply holding the post of a titular head of state.
May we ask our American democratic friends why did they elect Barack Obama as their president? Why do US officials try to poke their nose into the internal affairs of foreign countries knowing that charity begins at home?
USA, the leader of the world, should always move on the right track for the success of democracy and the UN.
