Sayedee's health condition improves

Detained Delwar Hossain Sayedee's physical condition is improving gradually.
He is now under intensive care at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of National Heart Foundation.
His condition is slightly better yesterday (Friday) compared to Thursday, said hospital sources.
Sayedee, 72, is on trial facing 20 charges of crimes against humanity committed during the Liberation War.
Due to chest pain, Sayedee was admitted to Ibrahim Cardical Hospital on June 19.
Defence counsel of Sayedee made a plea to the International Crimes Tribunal-1 to transfer him to National Heart Foundation. The tribunal accepted their plea.
Sayedee's son Masud Bin Sayedee claimed that the attending doctors are not informing family members about his father's condition.
Sayedee's defence counsel on Thursday made a plea to the tribunal to allow Sayedee bail on humanitarian ground saying he needs family care to overcome the ailment.
