DU student dies in road accident

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in the capital's Shahbagh and before Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport yesterday.
An unidentified vehicle hit Azizur Rahman Chanchal, 28, a graduate of psychology department of Dhaka University, before Shishu Park. Passers-by rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 8:00pm where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, Sharafuddin, 30, a transport worker, fell off the back of a pick-up van after being hit by a bus near the airport. The van driver, Emdadul Haque, rushed Sharafuddin to DMCH where doctors declared him dead.
