Mojaheed likely to get parole for today

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed, now behind bars in connection with war crimes charges, is likely to get parole for today to attend his brother's namaz-e-janaza, confirmed Home Secretary CQK Mostak Ahmed.
“Mojaheed's lawyer informed of the incident and we asked him to submit a prayer seeking parole for tomorrow and he agreed,” said Additional Secretary to the home ministry Kamal Uddin Ahmed.
A Jamaat leader, Matiur Rahman Akanda, in a press release, said the namaz-e-janaza of Mojaheed's younger brother, Mohammad Soeb, will be held in the capital at 2:00pm today.
