Increase share supply to market: top bankers
Top leaders of the Association of Bankers Bangladesh (ABB) yesterday said the supply of new shares to the market needs to be increased to meet demand for good stocks.
Mohammed Nurul Amin, chairman of ABB, said a supply of new shares is important for the market to meet investors' demand.
The banks are investing in the market for the development of the market, he said.
Amin spoke after a meeting with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in Dhaka. Rakibur Rahman, president of the Dhaka bourse, said DSE and ABB will work together to develop the market.
“The market will be stable if we can ensure transparency and acceptability in the market,” Rahman said.
