Textbooks seized

Police seized a huge number of textbooks meant for free distribution from a local market in Manirampur upazila of Jessore district yesterday morning. Police said Sawpna Rani, headmistress of Bijoyrampur Govt Primary School, sold out the books and other official documents to a person at the market. On information Upazila Executive Officer Zillur Rahman, Assistant Primary Education Officer Azgar Ali and police went to the market and seized the books and papers.
