Foreign liquor seized

Bangladesh Coast Guard members seized 262 cans of beer and 193 bottles of foreign liquor worth about Tk 6.17 lakh from Pashchim Gahira of Anwara upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.
Acting on a tip off, three petrol teams of the coast guard from Sangu, Patenga and base outpost conducted a drive in the coastal area of Pashchim Gahira and halted a boat carrying the beer and the liquor, said a coast guard press release.
