Girl dies after falling from rooftop

A teenage girl died after falling from the rooftop of a three-storey building at Shahjadpur in Badda of the city yesterday.
The deceased is Ritu Akhter, 15, a class IX student of Shiyalbari Islamia Alia Madrasa of the area.
Her father Omar Ali said Ritu fell down from the rooftop while she went there for drying up clothes at around 2:30pm. Ritu was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctor declared her dead.
