Road crashes kill four
Four people were killed in separate road accidents in Natore, Dinajpur and Jessore early Saturday and yesterday.
Our Natore correspondent reports: Dibbo Giri Dipu, 3, son of Kisor Giri of Lalpur upazila, was killed instantly when a three-wheeler ran over him at Madhubari in the upazila while he was playing on the road beside their house on Saturday.
In another accident, motorcyclist Sakhawat Hossain, 30, son of Sattar Sarker of the sadar upazila, died on the spot as a bus rammed his bike on Natore-Dhaka highway in Dattapara area in the upazila yesterday.
In Dinajpur, rickshaw-puller Md Hafizur Rahman, 40, of Birganj upazila, was killed instantly as a truck rammed his rickshaw on Panchagarh-Dhaka highway in Choto Bottoli area in the upazila on Saturday evening.
Our Benapole correspondent says: A truck hit Shah Alam, 32, son of Wahid Ali of Abhaynagar upazila, on Jessore-Khulna highway at Prembug in the upazila of Jessore yesterday morning, leaving him dead on the spot.
