Mahmud made air vice marshal

Air Commodore Mahmud Hussain, chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB), has been promoted to the rank of air vice marshal.
The decision was made public yesterday.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Col (retd) Faruk Khan and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman adorned Mahmud Hussain with the air vice marshal rank badge of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) at a simple ceremony at the Air Headquarters.
Senior BAF officers, among others, were present at the ceremony, said an ISPR release.
