Obituary

Taslim Ahmad passed away due to old age complications in Ottawa, Canada on February 29. He was 92.
He left behind his daughter and son to mourn his death.
He served as the last inspector general of police of the then East Pakistan when the War of Liberation began in March, 1971. He was appointed as the first home secretary of Bangladesh in 1972.
