Electrician electrocuted

An electrician was electrocuted at his residence in the city's Mirpur yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Md Shawkat, 30, son of Solaiman Miah of Section 11.
Victim's relatives said Shawkat was electrocuted when he touched a washroom door made of iron around 5:30am.
Police said Shawkat was fixing electric wires of the washroom Saturday night.
Police suspect that any live wire must have come in contact with the iron door during the work.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
