Fake doctor fined in Ctg

A mobile court in a drive here yesterday fined a person Tk1 lakh for practising as a doctor without having any license of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
The person, MA Khan, was practising at KB Aman Ali road of Rahattarpul area in the port city.
Juthika Sarker, Executive Magistrate of Chittagong District Administration, led the drive.
She said, although Khan has no MBBS degree, he has been using the designation of doctor before his name which is a violation of BMDC act.
