BNP programmes on Ekushey

BNP has chalked out a two-day programme to observe International Mother Language Day.
The black flag will be hoisted atop while the national flag and the party flag kept half-mast at party offices across the country at 6:00am on February 21. The party's local units will organise discussions in memory of the language martyrs on the occasion.
A discussion will be held on February 20 at Mohanagar Natya Mancha in the city and the party will place floral wreaths at the central Shaheed Minar to pay tributes to the martyrs.
The other programmes include offering prayers at the graves of language martyrs at Azimpur graveyard.
Associate bodies of the party will also organise programmes, including discussion.
Meanwhile, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, at a meeting, asked all the district teams of the party, formed for March 12 grand rally, to carry out their duties properly for holding it peacefully.
He said the government will be forced to step down through a peaceful and democratic movement.
