An unidentified woman was killed as a train ran over her at Shyampur railway station in Rangpur Sadar upazila on Friday evening.
According to the Government Railway Police, the woman was trying to board the running Dinajpur bound-train from Balashighat. But she could not manage to get on and fell down under the train.
She died on the spot.
