Four more get bail

A court here yesterday granted bail to another four, including three charge-sheeted and one exempted accused, in Narsingdi municipality mayor Lokman Hossain murder case.
The four who got bails areMasudur Rahman Murad, assistant personal secretary to the telecommunications minister Rajiuddin Ahmed Raju, Abdul Matin Sarkar, Mia Mohammad Monzur and Masudur Rahman Tippon.
District and Sessions Judge Dr Mohammad Shahjahan passed the order after 20 to 25 lawyers including district AL president advocate Asaduzzaman sought bail for the detainees.
After a long hearing of the both sides, the court granted the bails.
Meanwhile, Kabir Sarkar, another charge-sheeted accused in Lokman murder case surrendered before a Narsingdi court yesterday. After the hearing, the court placed Kabir on one-day remand in the case.
