Dhaka, Gazipur, Satkhira and Khulna emerged group champions to reach the third round of the Citycell National Basketball Championship eliminating their rivals at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium yesterday.
Rangpur beat Comilla by 83-30 points, Satkhira defeated Rajshahi 73-34, Khulna outplayed Narayanganj 87-33, Jessore overcame Chandpur 48-46, Gazipur defeated Chittagong 80-63 and Narsingdi beat Kushtia by 78-24 points.
The six-team third round matches will start today at the same venue.
Khulna will take on Police AC in the first match while Dhaka will meet Bangladesh Air Force later.
