Sunny out for a week

Abahani's left-arm spinner Elias Sunny has suffered an injury to his finger during the Premier Division Cricket League match against Prime Doleshwar at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium yesterday.
The national spinner, who suffered the injury when taking a return catch, will be out of action for the next week which means he will not only miss a few matches for his Club but also for the Bangladesh A team; he was included in the 13-member squad for the first three one-dayers against England Lions.
“He suffered the injury on his ring finger but there was no fracture. He will be out of action for the next week,” informed BCB's physician Dr. Debashish Chowdhury.
Chief selector Akram Khan informed that Sohrawardi Shuvo may replace Sunny in the A team.
