Two held with arms

Police arrested two suspected criminals along with arms at Idur Baria village in Sreepur upazila on Saturday night. The arrestees are Alif, 30, son of Akkas Mondol of Alamdanga village, and Durlov, 25, son of Ilahi sheikh of Bashtepur village in Pangsha upazila of Rajbari district. Police Superintendent Sajjadur Rahman said on secret information, a patrol team of police arrested the duo while a gang of criminals with illegal arms were going to Pangsha upazila crossing the Gorai River at around 11 pm. Later, the law enforcers recovered two shutter guns from their possession.
