People worried about abduction and secret killing
Abductions and secret killings have increased in the country alarmingly. We learn about such brutal killings from the newspapers every day. The murders of the Narsingdi mayor Lokman and two BNP leaders, Najmul Islam in Jessore and Wahab in Noakhali, are such cases of secret killing. Besides, very recently, during a pleasure trip by boat in the Changhar canal, two innocent students of Shahjalal Science and Technology University were killed. The government as well as the law enforcers couldn't find out the motive behind such killings.
Many people are being picked up from their homes and streets by some unknown people who are introducing themselves as law enforcers. Later, dead bodies of some of the abduction victims are being found. But most other abducted people are remaining untraced. Such mysterious incidents are not only occurring in the capital, it is also occurring in other towns of the country. It seems that the law enforcement agencies are not capable of solving these cases. No investigation has been done by the government as yet. As a result, people are becoming increasingly worried. The only expectation of common people from the state is that it will give them the security so that they can return home safely and stay home safely.
The government should immediately take steps to find out the criminals and also the causes of such abductions and secret killings through appropriate investigation.
