First win for Purbachal

Purbachal Parisad recorded their first win in the Senior Division Football League when they beat bottom-table City Club 1-0 in yesterday's match at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium Kamalapur.
Shahadat Hossain Babu scored a sublime goal with a sidevolley outside from the penalty area to separate the two sides on the half hour.
Purbachal raised their collection to five points after six rounds while City stuck to one point after four defeats in five outings.
Jatrabari KC will look forward to regain pole position from Victoria when they take on Agrani Bank in today's second match after the battle between Wanderers and Youngmen's Club Fakirerpool, who attempt to reach one point within the leaders.
