Schoolgirl rape : 2 teachers held

Police arrested two schoolteachers from Keraniganj on Thursday night on allegation of assisting one of their colleagues to flee allegedly after violating a female student.
The arrested teachers are Abu Zafar and Alamgir Hossain of Kalatia High School in Keraniganj outskirts of the city.
Mainuddin Khan, OC of Keraniganj Model Police Station, told The Daily Star that Monowar Hossain, a teacher of English, violated a class seven student after promising her marriage.
When the news spread out Monowar fled the area with the help of his the two colleagues.
Later, locals caught the two and handed over them to police.
Victim's mother later filed a case against three teachers with the police.
