Extremist leader held with pistol at Benapole

Police arrested a regional extremist leader and recovered a foreign made pistol loaded with six bullets from his possession on Thursday.
Police said Delwar Hossain Dadan, 32, son of late Amir Ali and a listed terrorist and regional leader of an extremist group in Jessore, Jhenidah and Chuadanga region was arrested after raiding his house at Chakla village.
He was accused of over dozen of cases including murder, robbery and extortion with different police stations of Jessore, Jhenidah, Magura and Chuadanga, police said.
