Arambagh beat Wari

Arambagh Krira Sangha improved their position after a poor start in the Senior Division Football League when they edged Wari Club 1-0 yesterday for their third win.
Nasiruddin struck the match winner from a 50-minute penalty at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur as Arambagh extended their collection to ten points after five games.
Wari's second defeat in six outings saw them stuck to six points.
The league will resume on Monday after a two-day break due to inclement weather.
