2 killed in Netrakona clashes

Two persons were killed and 35 others injured in separate villagers' clashes over land in Durgapur and Purbadhala upazila yesterday, police sources said.
In the first incident, Abdul Malak,45, of Anantapur villager was killed and 25 others were injured at Naogaon in the morning. In the afternoon, the villagers clashed again leaving Nur Mahmud dead.
Of the injured , Abdur Rashed,35, Abdul Khaleque,27, Mostafa Mia,23, and Wares Ali,60, were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. Other injured were admitted to Durgapur Upazila Health Complex and Purbadhala Upazila Health Complex.
