Durga Puja celebrated

The major attractions of the Sharodiyo Durga Puja celebrations included traditional 'jatrapala', folk songs and dances. Smiling children in new clothes, devotees in a spiritual trance, chanting of mantras, amazing display of lights and the rhythmic beat of 'deshi dhak' (drums) are all part of the grand celebration.
