Shaheed Matiur’s anniversary of death today

Today is the 39th death anniversary of Shaheed Matiur Rahman, who sacrificed his life during the mass upsurge of 1969, says a press release.
On the occasion, a milad mahfil and discussion will be held at his alma mater, Nabakumar Institution, in the city at 9:00am.
Principal Abdul Halim, Vice Principal Md Abul Kalam, governing body member Mahbubuzzaman and Matiur's father Azhar Ali Mallik will take part in the discussion.
