Death anniversary

Today is the 22nd death anniversary of Dr Nazma Jesmin Chowdhury, eminent academician, dramatist, and a teacher of Modern Language Institute of Dhaka University, says a press release.
On the occasion, the 22nd Dr Nazma Jesmin Chowdhury memorial speech-2011 will be held at the Modern Language Institute and foods will be distributed at orphanage.
Prof Dr Khandaker Ashraf Hossain will deliver the memorial speech with Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique in the chair.
Dr Nazma, wife of Prof Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, passed away due to cancer on this day in 1989.
