Call to learn from life of Bangabandhu

Rajshahi University Vice Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan yesterday urged the students to learn from the life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Prof Sobhan was speaking at the inaugural function of a library marking the National Mourning Day.
He also urged the students to read books more and more for the country's welfare as well as for the real history of the nation.
The authorities of Shaheed Habibur Rahman Hall inaugurated the library at the hall.
Prof Abdus Sobhan inaugurated the library while Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Nurullah and the hall provost Prof Dr Shahid Iqbal were present at the inaugural session.
Meanwhile, teachers under the banner of Progressive Teachers Society (PTS) of Rajshahi University also brought out a mourning procession on the campus on the occasion led by PTS Convener Prof Shah Nowaz Ali.
Prof Mizan Uddin, Prof Toffazzal Hossain Tarafdar, Prof Sadekul Arefin Matin, Prof Safikunnabi Samadi, Prof Chowdhury Sarwar Zahan Shajal, Prof Abul Kasem were present at the procession.
