National ID card distribution begins in Kishoreganj

Distribution of national identity card among eligible voters began in Kishoreganj yesterday.
GOC Maj. Gen. AKM Mujaheed inaugurated the programme through a simple ceremony.
The function was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Sultan Ahmed, Police Superintendent Mijanur Rahman, commander of Kishoreganj district army camp Lt. Col. Ashiquzzaman, district election officer Tohid Hossen and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahnewaj Dilruba Khan.
Later Maj Gen. Mujaheed held a meeting with rice traders at the at the DC's office.
