Good start for Bangladeshi chess players
Bangladeshi players got off to bright start in the 6th Parsvnath Open International Chess in Delhi with all four winning their first round matches against Indian players on Sunday.
Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman defeated A Sudarshan, International Master Enamul Hossain Rajib beat DS Shashaank, FIDE Master Taibur Rahman beat DB Pulekar and Sohel Chowdhury won against Chaitanya Hari Singhania.
A total of 391 players including 15 GMs, 25 IMs are taking part in the 10-round Swiss League which concludes on January 20.
