A factory worker who sustained severe burn injuries during a fire at Lalbagh on Sunday succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) yesterday.
The victim, identified as Dulal Hossain, 19, was a worker of Lily Chemicals, a glue-making factory.
Three other workers of the factory who also sustained burn injuries in the fire are still undergoing treatment at the Burn Unit of the DMCH.
Rupchada Melamine, a melamine factory, and a three-storied tin-roofed house also gutted in the fire.
