Hasina's jail release day today

Ruling Awami League (AL) will observe party chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Jail Release Day today.
Members of AL Central Working Committee and party advisory councils along with associated and like-minded organisations would greet the premier at her official residence Gono Bhaban in the morning.
Hasina was released on this day in 2008 from a special makeshift jail on Jatiya Sangshad Bhaban premises after a year in solitary confinement. She was arrested during the last caretaker government on July 16, 2007.
