'Second highest hill' spotted by 4 youths

The "second highest hill" of Bangladesh has been discovered recently at Bilaichhari upazila under Rangamati district, claimed four youths of Nature Adventure Club, a Dhaka based adventure organisation.
The hill, locally known as 'Dumlong', was measured 3,314 feet high above sea level with a Global Positioning System (GPS) device, said a press release.
Earlier, Wadud Mohsin, chief of the organisation, searched three times to know the whereabouts of the second highest hill of the country. On February 14, four youths --Wadud, Abdul Hoq, Aminur Rashid and Nagib Meshkat--again went to Rangamati. They discovered the second highest hill on February 20 with the help of local indigenous people, it added.
The hill's longitude is 22°02'02.1"N and latitude is 092°35'36.3"E. The hill 'Dumlong' is higher than 'Keocradong' which is 3,172 ft high.
The height of 'Tajindong' and 'Sippi Arsuang' is 2,723 ft and 3,028 ft respectively.
The organisation discovered country's highest summit 'Saka Hafong' with a height of 3,488 ft in December, 2007.
Nature Adventure Club has requested the government to recognise 'Saka Hafong' and 'Dumlong' as the highest and second highest hill of the country.
