2 stalkers jailed

Two stalkers were sentenced to six months rigorous imprisonment and one-month imprisonment at Lalmonirhat and Khulna respectively on Thursday.
Our correspondent from Lalmonirhat reports: A stalker was sentenced to six months rigorous imprisonment by a mobile court for stalking a college girl in Khutamara village.
Police said the stalker, Azizul Islam, 21, son of Delowar Hossain in the area, was harassing the girl on her way home around 10:30pm when locals caught him.
On information, the mobile court led by Magistrate Shariful Alom reached the spot and handed down the sentence.
UNB Khulna reports: A mobile court sentenced a youth to one-month imprisonment for sexually harassing a girl student at Kismot Phultala village in Batiaghata upazila.
Ananda Mohon, headmaster of the Batighata Girl's School, filed a written complaint with police against Kabedul Islam, 23, a van driver and son of Mohor Ali Mollah of the village, for harassing his student.
