People lose confidence in admin

Chief Election Commi-ssioner ATM Shamsul Huda yesterday said the people are loosing confidence in the civil administration day by day, as it has become biased a great deal.
He also emphasised restoration of the confidence while addressing to the government officials, candidates, and others at Nabiganj Upazila Parishad auditorium in Habiganj.
EC would ensure total neutrality in the upcoming by-elections of Habiganj-1 scheduled for 27 January, said Huda.
He said the law enforcers should be much alert to stop money distribution in the constituency.
Habiganj Deputy Commissioner Mahmud Hasan chaired the meeting.
