Anisul Haque Chowdhury, former state minister and Awami League (AL) leader, passed away due to old age complications at Rangpur Medical College Hospital yesterday at the age of 85, says a press release.
Anisul left behind his wife, two sons and four daughters to mourn his death.
His body was taken to Rangpur AL office for all to pay their last respect and later his namaz-e-janaza was held at Keyamatia Jame Mosque. He will be buried today at his village residence in Badarganj.
