BB governor warns against anomaly in disbursement

Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Atiur Rahman warned the bank officials and employees that any irregularity in disbursing agriculture loan will not be tolerated.
He said the process of loan disbursement is made transparent and easy so the small and marginal farmers including sharecroppers can have access to the financial support to boost agricultural production.
The BB chief said this is a pro-farmer government; so they sanctioned 12,500 thousand crore of taka as agriculture loan for the farmers.
