Bodies of three murder victims recovered
Police recovered three bodies from different places in Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari and Kishoreganj districts on Friday and Sunday.
In Lalmonirhat, police recovered the body of a housewife from a bamboo grove at Nabinagar village in Patgram upazila on Friday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Fuljan Begum, 25, mother of two children and wife of Abdur Rashid of the village.
Police quoting locals said some unidentified criminals called her out of her house at night and strangulated her to death.
Later, they fled the scene leaving behind the body in the bamboo grove near her house.
In Nilphamari, an unidentified middle aged man's body was recovered from the bank of Bullai River in south Shingergari area under Kishoreganj police station Sunday night.
Police suspected that criminals killed him elsewhere due to a previous enmity and dumped the body on the bank of the river.
In Kishoreganj, police recovered the decomposed body of an unidentified man, aged about 40, from a ditch at Magurvita village in Kotiadi upazila on Sunday noon.
Police said locals found the body floating in the ditch and informed them. Later, the body that bore injury marks was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police said the victim was murdered two or three days ago.4
