Bomb hurled at Desh TV, Bhorer Kagoj offices

Unidentified criminals exploded a 'bomb' targeting the offices of private television channel Desh TV and the daily Bhorer Kagoj at Shahid Sangbadik Selina Parveen sarak in Malibagh in the city last night.
Witnesses said the bomb detonated at the main entrance of the building housing the media offices around 10:00pm.
The TV and newspaper journalists said it was a bottle of explosives that targeted Karnafuli Media Point in which both the offices are located. None, however, was injured, they added.
Police and Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) reached to the spot soon after the incident.
Ramna Police Station Officer-in-charge Shibli Noman said they were yet to identify the attackers and make any arrest.
