Three arrested in Khulna

Police arrested three youths suspecting their involvement in the murder of schoolboy Bappi.
The arrestees are Anwar, Rocky and Nazrul. Bappi, 15, a class nine student of People's Jute Mill High School, was beaten to death by some of his playmates at around 10:30 pm. on Sunday at the playground of Platinum Jubilee Jute Mills at Khalishpur in Khulna city.
The schoolboy succumbed to his head injuries at Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Anwar is a student of the same school while two others Rocky and Nazrul are not students. Hockey sticks were used during tha attack on Bappi, said SI Prabir Kumar of Khalishpur Police Station.
Motive behind the murder is yet to be known although the deceased gave dying statement naming some of his attackers, the SI said.
Hafizur Rahman, elder brother of the deceased, filed a case with the police station concerned, accusing Anwar, Rocky, Nazrul of killing his brother.
