3 held for exploding bombs in Munshiganj

Police in separate drives arrested three people on charge of exploding bombs at Amghata village in Sadar upazila on Saturday.
The arrestees were identified as Robiul Islam, 34, Md Faruk, 25, and Jasim, 23.
Police quoting locals said, supporters of former union parishad chairman Mostafa Mollah and district Awami League vice-president Shah Alam, blasted a number of bombs Friday midnight over establishing supremacy in the village ahead of union parishad election.
Police later conducted separate drives in Chardumuria Bazaar and neighbouring villages and arrested the three of both groups at around 2 pm Saturday.
A case was filed.
