Walls of tilted building demolished

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) yesterday demolished partition walls of the five-storey building that was identified to have tilted Saturday at east Nakhalpara in the city.
The team led by executive magistrate Rokon-Ud-Dowla started knocking down the building in Nakhalpara Samabaya Samity Bazar area in the morning.
The building was built without approval from Rajuk.
Rajuk authorised officer Shafiqul Islam said they had to knock down the illegal building manually, as they could not mobilise the equipment due to very narrow alley in the area.
Rokon-Ud-Dowla said another team of Rajuk also razed the illegal portions of a building at Malibagh Bazar Road that has been built in deviation of the approved plan.
