Police constable closed

A constable of Jibannagar police station was closed to the police lines for violating discipline on Monday afternoon. Police said, Constable Sajjad Hossain was closed as per the order of Superintendent of Police (SP) at about 5:30pm. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Munshi Asadujjaman said Sajjad Hossain tried to have personal gains from the local people by identifying himself as a sub-inspector at Hariharnagar village on Sunday night. Locals caught him and gave him a good beating. On information, Jibananagra police rescued him and took him to upazila health complex.
