31 sued in Bagerhat for killing two FFs

Thirty-one people have been sued on charge of killing two freedom fighters in Morelganj upazila during Liberation War in 1971.
Nazma Shikdar, daughter of martyred freedom fighter Fazlul Rahman Shikdar of kachua upazila, yesterday filed a case with the Court of Senior Judge Rakibul Islam, accusing 15 people of killing his father in Morelganj on December 13, 1971.
Aftab Sheikh, son of martyred freedom fighter Toyab Ali Sheikh of Morelganj upazila, filed another case with the same court the same day against 16 people for killing his father on August 24, 1971.
The Judge accepted the case and asked the officer-in-charge (OC) of Morelganj Police Station to take necessary legal actions after proper investigation.
