Four frauds arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel in two separate drives in the city on Sunday arrested four frauds who had been cheating people identifying themselves as Rab men and customs officials.
Rab-1 officials said they arrested Mohammad Hafizur Rahman, 43, and Abu Nasir Hawlader, 60, from the city's Khilkhet area.
Hafiz had been cheating people identifying himself as a Major of Rab while Nasir claimed himself a customs official.
Another Rab team arrested fake Rab captain Jasim, 25, and one of his associates Salauddin, 40, at Abdullahpur as the arrestees had been trying to collect extortion from the local people.
